The hotel restaurant, Kihei, specialises in fresh seafood brought directly from the nearby harbour as well as locally-produced rice and vegetables. Options include dinner sets with a seafood maindish, a la carte dishes and chef’s recommended dishes. The seafood and rice bowls are particularly popular – the Satoumi Bowl features mixed fresh seafood while the Maika Bowl features squid sashimi (raw squid) with a specially brewed soy sauce.
In the Winter, warming anglerfish hot pot is a must try – the hot pot soup is made using miso paste and anglerfish liver and is packed full of seasonal vegetables and collagen-rich anglerfish, the perfect winter boost. After finishing the fish and vegetables, add rice to the soup to make a delicious rice porridge.
